Ladder-Guard® is a durable ladder safety sign designed to install between the top step and top cap of standard A-Frame ladders, serving as a clear point-of-use reminder not to step or stand on the top of the ladder.

Rather than relying solely on training or decals that can be ignored, Ladder-Guard places a highly visible safety message directly where unsafe behavior occurs—helping reinforce OSHA ladder safety guidance at the moment it matters most.

Detectable Material Technology

Many food production facilities require equipment and accessories used on the production floor to be detectable by X-ray and magnetic detection systems. Traditional plastic safety signage may not meet these requirements.

This Ladder-Guard model was developed in response to those needs—providing a ladder safety sign that aligns with food industry expectations while maintaining the same usability, durability, and visual effectiveness of our original Ladder-Guard design

Magnetic Detectability Using PolyMag®

This product incorporates PolyMag®, a magnetically detectable polymer additive manufactured by Eriez, a global leader in magnetic separation and detection technologies.

PolyMag® is engineered to allow plastic components to be detected by magnetic detection systems commonly used in food processing environments. The additive is compounded directly into the Ladder-Guard material, ensuring detectability is consistent throughout the part—not applied as a coating or surface treatment.

X-Ray Detectability

In addition to magnetic detectability, this Ladder-Guard version is also X-ray detectable, supporting facilities that rely on X-ray inspection systems as part of their foreign material control programs.

Important note: Detectability performance can vary depending on system sensitivity, calibration, and operating conditions. Customers are encouraged to conduct in-house testing to confirm compatibility with their specific detection systems.
